I’m a cinematographer, director of photography (DP/DOP) based in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam, working across commercials, music videos, and narrative films throughout Vietnam and internationally.

My filmmaking journey began in Finland in 2020, where I trained at the Academy of Moving People & Images before spending several years working in the Finnish, EU-standardized film industry on short films, a TV series, and a feature film. After returning to Vietnam in late 2024, I’ve continued working as a cinematographer on projects across the country while collaborating on international productions.

My creative philosophy is simple: create the right imagery rather than simply beautiful imagery. I believe cinematography should serve the story, strengthening emotion, supporting the tone, and elevating the film without drawing attention to itself.

I value calm collaboration, clear communication, and professionalism on set. I've always believed that the end product is only ever as good as the people behind it, and that mindset guides every project I take on.

When not working as a DP, I’m a guitarist, a pianist, and a part-time YouTuber sharing filmmaking insights with the Vietnamese creative community.
