Khanh Ngo is a DOP/Cinematographer based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Educated in the Academy of Moving People & Images in Helsinki, Khanh worked in the Finnish film industry for 4 years before relocating to his hometown. His work spans narratives, commercials, and music videos. Notably, he was the co-cinematographer for the feature film Parvet directed by the rising Hannaleena Hauru.

Khanh is also experienced in post-production, specifically editing and color grading. He’s most experienced with Davinci Resolve and can handle other NLEs if required.

Fusion with his Asian roots and Finnish experience, Khanh brings to the table a traditional Vietnamese feel to the picture with a touch of European breathe. Khanh believes in the power of the image and aims to create pictures that elevate the story while being aesthetically pleasing. He adores the work of Erik Messerschmidt in Mindhunter and Larkin Seiple in Everything Everywhere All at Once, which have had great impact on Khanh’s vision and approach to cinematography.

Khanh also believes that the product is only as good as the process, which is why he always tries to create an enjoyable environment and experience for his co-workers.

While not filming, Khanh’s a guitarist, pianist, foodie, and badminton enthusiast.
