Behind-the-scenes

We shot this film with the ARRI AMIRA & the Cooke Speed Panchros. Very much so classical filmmaking, with tripod, dollies, and handheld shots being the dominant mediums we’ve used.

Lighting was done either with bounces, diffusions, and negs for exteriors, and with all LEDs, featuring mostly Aputure fixtures, ranging from the XT26’s to the Amaran F22’s. The idea was to light as much for the space as possible, so that our actors could move and act freely, as well as to ensure camera’s flexibility in our many complex and emotional heavy scenes.
