Behind-the-scenes

Due to the remote location and the challenges when it comes to logistics, electricity, and production in general, the Sony FX6 and FX3 have been chosen to be our cameras. Paired with them are the Blazar Remus anamorphics, which I’ve find to be quite rich in characters while still managing to maintain a healthy amount of contrast and clarity.

Lighting wise, all of our daytime exterior were as nimble as it gets, with the assistant of floppies and polies. During the night time, we ran a couple of small LED lights under a 10kva generator, combined with the natural fire as our main key-light. The 12800ISO of the FX cameras came in extremely handy.
